Former University of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops officially ends his retirement after a short two year absence. Stoops will be the head coach for the XFL’s Dallas franchise. This marks the first coaching hiring for the revamped XFL.
Most of you are probably wondering what the XFL even is. Well remember in 2001 when we had football year round? Those games that had WWE like gimmicks throughout? Yeah… that’s back and once again spearheaded by that coke-head Vince McMahon. That’s not me being harsh I’m pretty sure it’s a fact. I mean look at this guy… he has to be on something.

The 2001 XFL was a “colossal failure” according to McMahon. In fact, the XFL ended up costing investors over 35 million dollars. So why is it coming back? The NFL has only had negative press in the last few years. Whether it’s between players taking a knee during the National Anthem or the leagues hazy viewpoint on sexual misconduct allegations, McMahon believes he can bring back the football we all remembered and loved. Honestly, if it brings back hits like this I’m all in.
