Last night the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII to secure their 6th Lombardi trophy in the last 17 seasons. What more is there to say? I believe the only thing we can say is that the only guarantees in life are death, taxes, and Tom Brady and Bill Belichick playing/coaching football on the first Sunday in February.
After Sunday's victory, the Patriots are now tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the franchises with the most Super Bowl Victories (6). Brady and Belichick extend their record of the most Super Bowls between a coach/QB combo. Tom Brady officially becomes the only NFL player ever to have won 6 rings and Belichick extends his record of most Super Bowl wins as an NFL head coach with 6. You see what I am getting at here? We are witnessing the the best QB of all time, as well as the best NFL head coach of all time. But hey, that one time they allegedly intentionally deflated footballs certainly means they can't be as good as they are.

Regardless of how you feel about the Patriots, deflategate, spygate, multiple player suspensions, you simply can't refute the constant success. What we are seeing is an unprecedented, never before seen 17 year run in the NFL. A league that is set up with rules, salary caps, and a watchful eye from Roger Goodell, parity is supposed to exist in the NFL. With 9 Super Bowl appearances and 6 of those appearances resulting in wins, the Brady-Belichick era is simply defying all NFL logic.
But I'm sure Belichick is already onto thinking about the 2019-2020 season, because there are "NO DAYS OFF."
